Cristina Morera wanted to clarify that, after the conversations held in Alicante, and without knowing yet the final number of people to whom Dénia could help, the Valencian Community has committed to help a total of 1.500 people who would be divided among all municipalities belonging to the Network of Refuge Cities, so we are talking about Dénia would host three or four refugees.

He also recalled that from Europe aid is subsidized to these people with 6.000 euros per refugee, money that will be distributed among NGOs that collaborate directly with them. Morera wanted to clarify that "At no time does refugee help mean neglecting Dianense citizens."

The motion went ahead with the support of all parties except for the PP, who abstained considering that it was "empty of content".
