Dénia wants repatriating powers on the seafront

The Councilor for Urban Planning Vicente Chelet has stated that the Dénia City Council plans to request a new maritime-terrestrial demarcation in the port area shortly.

The request to the Ministry of the Environment is aimed at recovering powers in the area of ​​the seafront. Specifically in the Cervantes esplanade and the Raset promenade, from the facades of the buildings to the outer edge of the sidewalk that runs through the port area. According to Chelet, in this way the aim is to put an end to the jurisdictional conflicts that affect homes, catering establishments and craft stalls in the area. The proposal to request the demarcation will be debated today, Monday, in the Town Planning Information Committee.
