Dénia sent to the Government the draft of the new bus station for inclusion in the Trust Plan

Dénia City Council has provided the Ministry of Finance the basic design of the new bus station to authorize funding under the Plan Trust funds. The project involves a facility with nine platforms, office, public toilets and a waiting area in shade for users.

The New Bus Station

The new bus station is expected to occupy a plot of 1.851 square meters in the game Madrigueres Sud, 1, next to the farm of Torrecremada and opposite the Palau de Justícia.

The station was the most voted by the citizens in the participatory consultation that the city of Denia carried out to select the projects to be carried out in the city with the funds of the Trust Plan intended, initially, to the construction of the auditorium La Nau .

Other Projects for the Trust Plan

Along with this action, the city council has submitted this week the rest of the projects that will be financed with the Confidence Plan: the redevelopment of the access to the castle (Sant Francesc street); the new lighting in the covered pavilion of the municipal sports center and change of the system in the production and distribution of domestic hot water in the facilities; improvements to the Dénia castle (lighting, new signage and clearing of pine trees); the rehabilitation of the old market; the redevelopment of La Mar street in the section between Fora Mur and Diana street; the redevelopment of Plaza Arxiduc Carles; the redevelopment of Colón Street from its intersection with Cándida Carbonell to the intersection with Diana; the underground project for three waste collection points in Jesús Pobre and the basic project for the rehabilitation and expansion of the La Xara school.

The budget available to Dénia for the execution of these actions amounts to 8.158.896 euros, of which 287.310 euros will go to La Xara and 135.335 euros to Jesus Pobre.
