The Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) of the Department of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labor has granted the Dénia City Council an aid of 240.873,32 euros to improve the industrial estate.
This money will subsidize the improvement project drafted by the consistory, which has a total budget of 296.559,37 euros. The rest of the financing will be provided by the city council of Dianense.
The project presented by the municipality contemplates improvements in the supply of drinking water, increasing the current flow and pressure. To this end, the installation of new stretches of ductile cast iron pipe that could mallar the existing network is planned.
Likewise, the works will include the installation of hydrants against fires, nonexistent at present. These hydrants will be installed in areas of easy access and will be distributed in such a way that the maximum distance from any point of façade level is 100 meters.
Finally, the project includes the placement of horizontal and vertical signaling appropriate to the reality of the polygon, so that the circulation zones and pedestrian crossing areas are well defined, avoiding conflict zones.
Since its launch, 45 years ago, the Dénia industrial estate has not been subject to any type of improvement action. Today occupies an area of 54,68 hectares. It currently has a 81% occupancy, with 149 companies that develop their activity there.
