Last Monday the city planning councilor, Pepa Font, announced that at the moment Dénia will not have a green lung, since the lack of income from European subsidies has meant that the city has to give up the construction of the Bosc de Diana.

From the PSOE, his councilor Elena Tur has denounced «la falta de rigor político y gestión de Ana Kringe» and that «Since the motion of censure, more than 4 years have passed to complete the Bosc de Diana and the person most responsible for losing the subsidy is the Mayor, who is more concerned with taking photos and her political future than with worrying about the city and its citizens.

Tur recalled that during the 4 years of government PP-CU have lost more than 13 million euros in grants: «the 300.000 euros from the Eco-Camp project, the more than 9 million euros from the foundered La Nau theater, the project to modernize the local administration, the subsidies from the State and the Generalitat for the rehabilitation of Les Roques, and now the Bosc of Diana.
