Dénia chooses its biggest falleras for the 2019 year

Came the day. The candidates anxiously wait for their phone to ring tonight, that call that can change their lives and that will fill them next year with acts, commitments and a lot of responsibility. Tonight we will know the names of the new major falleras of Dénia, which will succeed Melani Ivars and Carla Vinaroz.

Voting will begin at 20:00 in the plenary hall of the Dénia City Council. The eleven presidents of the fallas de Dénia, one delegate for each commission, seven members of the Fallera Local Board, the party councilor, the mayor of Dénia, the president of JLF, and the major falleras of Dénia 2018 have the right to vote.

At 21:00 p.m., the vote count will begin in the mayor's office. Once finished, the mayor, Vicent Grimalt, will call the two elected by the failures to be its highest representatives. Next, the new major falleras of Dénia and their courts of honor will be received at the City Hall, where they will receive their bands and their appointments as such by the authorities, before the expectation of the fallero world.

Six women and eleven girls aspire to the position

They aspire to be the new major infantile faller of Dénia the girls Lucía Berruti Molinillo (fails Campaments); Marina Dalmau Palonese (Falla Port Rotes); Lucia Escribano Luque (Falla Camp Roig); Thais Fear Arbona (Falla Paris Pedrera); Andrea González Bataller (Falla Darrere del Castell); Ainara Linero Oltra (Falla Center); Carla Miranda García (Falla Les Roques); Aitana Montero Castro (Falla Baix la Mar); Elena Rosalen Ahuir (Falla Saladar); Neus Suárez Femenia (Falla Diana); and Gala Pérez Martí (Falla Saladar), which becomes part of the court of honor.

The candidates for fallera mayor of Dénia 2019 are Ada Arbona Larrosa (Falla Saladar); Raquel Jorrillo Romero (Falla Centro); Raquel Martín Pérez (Falla Darrere del Castell); Azael Pastor Barber (Falla Diana); Rosa Pastor Sospedra (West Falla) and Amparo Petrie Fernández (Port Rotes Falla).
