Dénia chooses this evening to the Falleras Mayor of the city for 2018
The fallero world has tonight one of the most important events of the year: it is called to choose those who will be the maximum representatives of the fallera during this exercise. Five young men and six girls aspire to get it, and today, from 21: 20 hours, approximately, the mystery will be revealed.
Voting will begin at 20:00 p.m. A delegate from the assembly representing each falla has the right to vote; the presidents of the failures of Dénia; the president of the Fallera Local Board; seven delegates of the Board; the major falleras of Dénia 2017; the party councilor and the mayor, who is also ex officio president of the Fallera Local Board. In total, 34 people who must vote for two candidates for Fallera Mayor and two candidates for Fallera Mayor Infantil.
At 21: 00 hours the voting will be closed and the vote count will begin. It is expected that around 21: 20 hours the mayor will call the two chosen to communicate the good news.
After the call, the new major falls of Dénia and its courts of honor will be directed to the arcades of the Town Hall, where they will proceed to the act of imposition of band and appointment of the maximum representatives of the faults of dénia for exercise 2017 / 2018.
