04 2017 April - 10: 00

Dénia have a unique postmark that will be presented tomorrow, Wednesday April 5 in Dianense post office.

The campaign started in the year 2014 Post in granting certain post offices use special postmark, which filatélicamente are known as "Tourist"Returns to the Marina Alta in order to serve to promote the charms that each of our cities have. This time is the office of Denia which have this stamp illustrated and will be printed on the map.

The postmark is dedicated to the castle of Dénia, a fortress that has become one of the images that represent the city. This new die will be put into use from tomorrow. His presentation will be in a ceremony that will take place at 19:30 p.m. at the Post Office located on Patricio Ferrándiz street.

The difference between this "resort" is postmarked conventional carrying an illustrated image, giving it a more attractive character and serve as a way to spread tourism aspects of cities that request.

The creation of this stamp comes from an initiative launched by the Philatelic Societies Calpe and Benissa which, through the Spanish Federation of Philatelic Societies (FESOFI), Correos coursed their applications. Similarly, studies extend these postmarks to other towns in the region, since it is a very interesting way to spread the attractions of our land through correspondence. Benissa, Calpe and Denia now, already have this special form of epistolary promotion.
