The Councilor for International Relations of Dénia, Marcela Server, attended last week a meeting between councilors at the British consulate in Alicante. The forum was inaugurated by the ambassador of the United Kingdom in Spain, Giles Paxman, and the deputy of Foreign Citizens, Mercedes Alonso.
The meeting was created with the aim of promoting the integration of the British collective in society, and the councilor of the area took the opportunity to meet with officials of the Foreign Citizens Unit of the Diputación de Alicante to learn more about the Optimiza Project: a few days directed to political leaders and technical staff of the municipalities in which it is intended to analyze, coordinate and improve existing resources and services to offer a better service to citizens to be held in February.
