Dénia calls two scholarships to study the Master in rice at the University of Alicante
The University of Alicante will implement, from the next course 2018 / 2019, the new Master in rice and applied Mediterranean haute cuisine, in the facilities of the CDT of Dénia, where the International Center of Gastronomy of the Mediterranean is located.
In the absence of a few months of completion of the pre-registration for the master, the next 9 in September, the City of Dénia has convened two scholarships valued at 4.000 euros per course.
One of the scholarships will be granted to a candidate of junior category, of equal or less than 35 years and with 2 years of accredited work experience in the field of catering, catering and / or gastronomy, and the other, to another of senior character, over 35 years and with a minimum of 5 years of accredited work experience.
The profile of the students are people with a degree in hospitality or gastronomy, chefs with training in cuisine that have certificates of professionalism level 2 or higher, vocational training cycles of medium or higher degree in cooking and chefs with extensive professional experience with concerns to renew and acquire new knowledge. Scholarship recipients will be people who are registered in any municipality of the Marina Alta, at least 1 year from the publication of the abstract of the call and who are not enjoying another scholarship or aid of the same category or analogous purpose The period of enjoyment of the scholarship will be from October of 2018 until May of 2019.
Applications must be submitted in writing at the Office of Citizen Services (OAC) of the City Council of Dénia or electronically at the Electronic Office-Virtual OAC within 15 calendar days from the day following the publication of the abstract of the call in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Alicante. The forms for the application of the scholarship will be available both in the OAC and in the Electronic Headquarters of the Ajuntament de Dénia.
The selection of candidates will be made by a Selection Committee appointed by the rector of the University of Alicante.
