The City of Denia and the Generalitat Valenciana have signed the agreement for the implementation of a PROP office in the municipality, which will serve the entire Marina Alta from next June.

As explained by the mayor, Vicent Grimalt, during the signing of the agreement, incorporation into the network of PROP offices will facilitate that the citizens of the Marina Alta can obtain general information on any procedure or procedure related to the Generalitat, as well as on public job offers, with the consequent savings in travel and streamlining of procedures.

The PROP office will be located in the former premises of the Local Police, in the Plaza de la Constitució, which the city council has been reforming since the end of March to also house the Office of Citizenship Assistance.

The agreement establishes that the Generalitat will provide two officials who are responsible for providing the general information services and information regarding the status of processing of files of their competence. It will also provide the PROP office with the necessary communications infrastructure to guarantee access to its databases and the computer resources required by its staff. The City of Dénia, meanwhile, will provide the physical space where the office and part of the equipment will be installed.

The signing of the agreement was made between the mayor of Dénia and the Minister of Transparency, Social Responsibility, Participation and Cooperation, Manuel Alcaraz. The event was also attended by the vice mayor, Rafa Carrió, and the deputy secretary of Transparency, Alfonso Puncel.

Denia's PROP office will serve more than 40.000 local citizens and 190.000 in the region.
