Dénia holds a charity race in favor of women's association Matria

The amateur sports team Enganxa't a correr has organized, with the collaboration of the Ajuntament de Dénia, a Women's Race with solidarity, as part of the collection of the registration will go to Matria Associació de Dones, an association of women focused on helping victims of gender violence.

The initiative has been presented this morning at the Dénia Town Hall by the councilors of Social Welfare, Pepa Sivera, and of Sports, Sisco Signes, the physical trainer of Enganxa't a correr, Marc Bañuls, a member of the sports team, Pilar Sánchez and Marita Herraiz, representing the Matria Women's Association.

The race will be held on October 19 and has a distance of 4.900 meters that participants can run, walk or walk. It will leave at 10.30 hours from Marqués de Campo street, passing through the port, Real Club Náutico, back to Raset promenade, La Mar street, Ajuntament square, Mayor street, West square, Montcada and Colón streets and end in Marqués Field

You can engage people of all ages taking up the form they prefer. Registration will be formalized on the web somesport.org until October 16. The participation fee is 5 euros.

The organization will give registered women a pink t-shirt to complete the race and the Q Fitness gym will collaborate on the initiative carrying out animation activities before the race and when it finishes it will offer a Zumba class.
Likewise, members of the Fallera Local Board have offered to supply the participants.
