Dénia bet for a green Christmas and activities for all ages

With Christmas knocking on our doors for days, Dénia City Council presented the program prepared for this year, which includes several departments and covers a wide range of ages.

Councilors Josep Crespo, Eva Ronda and Cristina Morera have released the details of the program, which kicks off this weekend with the Medieval Market.

This year, the council has wanted to go further and offer not only leisure but also launch awareness messages about the importance of recycling and reuse. The first action will be the installation of two green Christmas trees. The poster that illustrates Christmas this year in Dénia is the work of Lucia Molines Mas, a student of the Marist school whose drawing was the winner of the XXI Christmas card contest that the Department of Education calls.

Its design, as well as becoming the image of the City of Dénia in Christmas cards, illustrated the Christmas season in the city.
