Dénia approves some municipal budgets made "to get out of the crisis"

The April plenary session definitively approved the 2012 municipal budgets in Dénia with the support of the government team and CDL (former PSD) and the votes against BLOC and PSOE.

The councilor for finance, Vicente Chelet, announced that the 281 allegations presented against the document have been rejected on the grounds that, being based on the increase in IBI rates, "This is not the right time or place to discuss these allegations.".

The CDL councilor, Mari Martínez, showed her support for the budget although she missed that the government team "Tighten your belt a little more". BLOC claimed "fundamental issues" his negative vote, asking for more demanding and more effort when produce it. PSOE, meanwhile, reaffirmed that "They do not provide any measures to reactivate the local economy and, even less, do they carry out savings actions and improve the efficiency of municipal management".

The plenary session also initially approved the new ordinance that will regulate the occupation of public roads, with facilities when requesting a space and violations that are more in line and updated with current times. In addition, two new titles are established: one referring to artistic activities on the street and another for the use of public roads in other types of activities such as Moorish and Christian parades or the installation of information tables.
