Dénia approves its third credit modification of the year to face the Holidays

The extraordinary plenary session of the Dénia City Council held yesterday afternoon approved the third credit modification of 2022, for an amount of 235.715,29 euros, from the remaining treasury, to deal with an increase in spending for activities of the department of Festivities (€220.000) and larger contributions to the budgets of the Dénia-el Verger and Dénia-Ondara-Pedreguer community of discharge users. The point went ahead with the favorable votes of all the groups of the Municipal Corporation except Gent de Dénia, who voted abstention.

The public exhibition of the final version of the General Structural Plan 2022 was also approved, which can be consulted from today Thursday at the municipal websitely give a hearing of 20 days from the publication in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana for the presentation of allegations. Dénia will recover tax management competencies in 2024

Likewise, it was approved by majority, with the votes in favor of the PSPV, Compromís, Partido Popular and Ciudadanos groups, and the abstention of Gent de Dénia, to communicate to the Diputación De Alicante the will of the Dénia City Council to recover the competences in matters of tax management and collection in the voluntary period of the Tax on Mechanical Traction Vehicles and the rate of collection of Urban Solid Waste for the year 2024.

In addition, it was agreed to request from the Provincial Government the extension for a single exercise of the transfer to Sum of these powers that will pass to the Consistory in 2024.
