On the one hand, signs have been placed to indicate the space corresponding to people with mobility in wheelchairs. On the other hand, ischial benches have been installed that allow people with some mobility limitation who have difficulty sitting down and getting up from conventional benches to rest, such as the elderly, those with joint problems, pregnant women or people with functional diversity.

The Councilor for Citizen Security, Javier Scotto, has pointed out that "with both interventions, Dénia City Council facilitates the mobility of all people, makes Dénia a more accessible and friendly city and takes into account the essential value of functional diversity , of the diverse capacities, of the elderly population, of people with some joint pathology and of pregnant women”.
