Dénia hosts this Saturday a conference on 'the invisible disability'
The House of Culture of Dénia will host, on Saturday, September 14, from 10 to 13: 30 hours, a Conference on Invisible Disability, ADHD, ASD, MENTAL HEALTH AND RIGHTS, organized by ADHD + 16, AMADEM and the City Hall of Dénia.
In this meeting we will talk about the invisibility of the Mental Health groups and the stigma and prejudices that prevail in the general population.
The day will feature professionals from the groups: ADHD+16, Fundació Mira'm sobre el TEA, AMADEM who will present the difficulties and needs that groups in the region and other geographical areas have.
A psychologist and a user of the CRIS of Benidorm will also participate to explain what the resource is and how they work. Likewise, a lawyer from the Mental Health Federation of the Valencian Community will deal with legal aspects and rights.
