Defend the work of Dr. Paricio at the gates of Hospital

About two hundred people gathered Sunday morning at the doors of the Dénia Hospital to protest against the measures that are being applied to the work of the Head of Pediatrics, Dr. Paricio.

Pediatrics service users, colleagues, team members and associations throughout the region came to the event, demonstrating peacefully in front of the entrance to the center.

A representative of the Doctor Support Platform stressed the importance of Doctor Paricio throughout the world and only had words of thanks for his work with the neonates and their relatives. With regard to the reasons to which the Hospital referred in a release, the representative affirmed that the Hospital "attributes merits that are not his, as the distinction of" Hospital Friend of the Children ", obtained by Doctor Paricio and his team in 1999".

Marta Sánchez, Paricio team member, said doctor being "An excellent professional who backs the service, has managed the work of all primary care partners". He also said that his team is "surprised and angry" why "They are wrong with this decision. We want him to stay. We just ask you to let us work. " Sanchez confirmed that since the decision of the hospital management was announced, they are receiving thousands of letters from all over the country, both from families and associations, breastfeeding committees and other Spanish hospitals.

Valencia pediatrician Mercedes Benac, Paricio companion from the faculty, showed "dismayed that a person like him is going through this (...) With the demonstrated value, his service cannot be tuned".

Everyone gathered there agreed that the Hospital rectify its decision because it seems "a mistake" and trust the Doctor Paricio return to your regular job as Chief of Pediatrics.

The Paricio Doctor was present throughout the morning in concentration, receiving tokens of affection and support of 200 people who were there.
