'Dansant a la Marina' arouses interest in dance of all styles at street level

Who last Saturday walked by Dénia enjoying a magnificent day of May ended his day loving the dance. And it is that, each step through the city became a reason to enter the world of dance and all its aspects and styles thanks to Dansant to the Navy, the first contemporary dance festival in public spaces organized by the Department of Culture of the Ajuntament de Dénia in collaboration with the association Fragile Dance.

The Mercat Municipal, Calle La Vía, Plaza del Consell and Calle Marqués de Campo became the settings for this show, through which seven dance companies from the Valencian Community passed, together with the Pas de Quatre schools from Diane. Mª Ángeles Signes, and the Patricia Dance Studio Sentí.

In the first edition of Fragile Dance They played the company of Marta Sol with her flamenco show Fourth and half by soleá; the company Aambar Dance, with The snail girl; the intensive training group of Eva Bertomeu, with the contemporary dance show Natural and cold; dancers of the contemporary ballet of María Carbonell; the company Malarte, presenting Not yet ... now; the company of Eva Bertomeu, with the show Kybalion and the company Another Dance, with Asun Noales and Sebastián Rowinsky, and their editing Emptiness.
