Daniel Marco inaugurated the "II Arros a banda & a banda del arrós Forum"

The Regional Secretary of Tourism and Commerce, Daniel Marco was in charge of inaugurating the "II Arrós Forum a banda & a banda del arrós that was held at the CDT facilities in Dénia. Organized by the Business Association.

Marco was accompanied by the mayor, Ana Kringe and the president of the Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of the Marina Alta, Cristina Sellés.

In his speech he commented "The importance of the event as it serves as a tool to promote tourism through gastronomy and becomes spaces for reflection and debate around a dish as emblematic as rice"."

He also assured his maximum support "We support all actions that enhance tourism development in our destinations, and therefore the entire Valencia and gastronomic tourism is now a priority".

Roundtables

During the morning two discussion tables were held around the Arrós band. The first of them under the title "Rice, the basis of our cuisine, in the field of the Mediterranean diet". It was moderated by the gastronomic journalist, Paco Alonso. Speakers include Lluís Peñafort, chef and cooking teacher, Miguel Minguet, Vice President of AVA-ASAJA, Evarist Miralles, chef and trainer of Invattur and Juan Carlos Galbis, chef and professor at the Tourism Development Centers and researcher.

The second table was under the title, "New Trends in the Mediterranean diet", was moderated by, Joantxo Llantada, technician in the area of ​​tourism promotion and communication of the Valencian Tourism Agency. At this table they intervened; Giuseppe Russolillo, president of the Spanish Foundation of Dietitians-Nutritionists, Purificación García, professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and Pascual Martí, Director of the Public Health Center in Dénia.
