Red Cross expands monitoring of beaches in Dénia a new position at the end of Les Rotes

With the summer high up and around the corner midseason, Cruz Roja Dénia announced developments in surveillance presenting Dianense 2015 coast this summer.

The most notable is the expansion of checkpoints, which fianalmente shall be eight with the addition of a new post at the end of Les Rotes, at the height of Restaurante Ca Nano.

These eight aid stations add to the 24 watchtowers strategically installed along the entire coastline and are already working.

Between the 15 and 30 June and 1 September and 15 October period considered midseason schedule beach monitoring will 10: 30 to 19: 30 hours continuously while the 1 July 31 August the schedule will be expanded and will be operational all checkpoints.

President of the Assembly Local Red Cross in Dénia, José Francisco Montiel, explained that this year will work on beach monitoring a total of 105 effective, which will be active between 70 and 75 every day.

A personal effective four boats that carried out surveillance at the same time along the coast, and a boat that is intended to emergencies that occur after hours of surveillance are added.

Beaconing of beaches on July 1 be installed

The mayor and councilor for tourism, Vicent Grimalt, explained that this year the beaconing of the beaches, which delimits the bathing and sports areas, will be installed on July 1.

In this regard, the mayor announced that this year ends the concessions of these beacons, so at the end of the year will begin to draft the specifications for the new concessions to install the beacon 15 May and lengthen the season.

Leisure facilities at the beaches

This year, like last summer, there will be six beach bars with sunbeds and umbrellas, three facilities for skate rental, jet skis, seven plants with sun loungers and a water park that will be installed on July 1.
