AETHMA and tourism agreements with the Real Club Nautico de Denia

This week in the city of Dénia have signed several tourism-related conventions in the city. The first one with the Association of Employers of Hospitality and Tourism Marina Alta (Aehtma), with whom the consistory collaborates providing 25.000 euros for its task of implementation and promotion of tourism related activities.

In this regard the support department at the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) are included; free specific training in food handling for the hospitality industry, promoting the destination Dénia in events scheduled by the Tourist Board Costa Blanca, the Ministry of Tourism and the City Council and collaboration in international competition red prawns from Dénia , fam-trips and implementation of Dénia card and sponsorship of sporting, cultural and social events in the city.

The signing was attended by the mayor of Dénia, Ana Kringe; the councilor for tourism, Pepa Font, and the president of AETHMA, Cristina Sellés.

For his part, the president of the Real Club Náutico de Dénia, Jaime Portolés, signed the agreement by which the city council contributes 18.000 euros to help carry out activities during 2013 such as the DéniaVela regatta program, which includes national competitions and autonomous; the sport fishing calendar, which as the most relevant test includes the City of Dénia Trophy; rowing, a sport in which the Real Club Náutico teams are a national benchmark in the fixed bench mode; eco-tourism and adventure sports, focused on sea kayaking and the crossings organized by the club and, finally, the municipal school of nautical sports, which has completed its third year and has been worthy, in the Sports Gala 2013, of the award for the school with the highest progression of the 12/13 season.
