August 26 from 2016 - 13: 54

In the plenary session held in the Dianense consistory this August, the mayor of Ciudadanos, Mari Martínez, requested information on the regularization of visitor access to the Cova Tallada. In this summer, every day more hikers come to it, becoming a pilgrimage center.

The answer came through the Councilor for the Environment, Josep Crespo, who commented that the Dianense council had informed representatives of the General Directorates of the Environment and Fisheries of this problem. The Department itself will adopt prevention measures but the possibility of having to control accesses is not ruled out, as has been done with the Marine Reserve.

The measures to be carried out from the Ministry is to install buoys in the vicinity of the place that signaled the passage of motor boats and kayaks bathers themselves, ie create an exclusive channel for boats.

The overland route is not simple and this has caused some accidents occur during the summer. It is for this reason that information panels will be installed at the beginning of the path warning of the difficulty of this route. one access rules as the age limit or footwear, clothing and equipment required for them will also be established.
