Dénia know walk the best experience for the little ones

A total of 120 primary school students from Sagrado Corazón and Paidos schools have recently participated in a new activity programmed by the Department of Environment and Climate Change to raise awareness about sustainable mobility in our city.

The students, divided into small groups, have worked in a practical way on a plane of Dénia concepts such as the advantages of public versus private transport, the location of the stations and the points of arrival and departure of each means of transport.

After viewing the bike lanes and streets for pedestrians in the city center were aware of the short time it takes to cross from one end to another of the city on foot, and practiced examples of displacement using these urban spaces without a car.

Once the practice, all information transferred to a plane size paper A3 where charted bike lanes, streets for pedestrians, urban parks and all that promotes better quality of life in everyday use.
