09 December 2016 - 00: 00

The world of rhythmic gymnastics is sometimes very ungrateful with gymnasts, destroying all the sacrifice and effort that has been done for months. Going ahead in a competition or staying without being in the final, is something more common than it seems. This was what happened to the Junior Group of the Dénia Gymnastic Club in the Spanish Championship held in Murcia.

The group of gymnasts composed of Gal.la Gallo, Lourdes Miralles, Paula Pesaresi, Zaira Más and Elisabeth Díaz came to this appointment with the aura of provincial and regional champion. After a first pass where they got a total score of 11.150 points they made a second where, unfortunately, they made some small mistakes in the execution so they were scored with 10.250 points. They had a penalty of 0,30. In a competition with so much level this is paid and the dianenses could not reach their pass to the final.

The podium in this category was, Rhythmic Pozuelo in the first place, Gym Pal, was second and the team of Club La Nucía was third.

Nuria Baeza and Anastasia Bolshakova runners-up fry

The best news to sweeten the bitter swill of the Joint Junior came with the great performance that made the dianenses, Nuria Baeza and Anastasia Bolshakova, part of the Joint Alevín Rhythmic Gymnastics Club Calpe. In addition to this set dianenses formed, Idaire Rodriguez, Marina Gomez and Carla Molina.

The competition was won in this category to set Marbella with a score of 21.300. The second place went to the calpinas with 20.950 and third place went to the Palas Club with 20.500.

This competition served to put the end to a season where the work carried out by the coaches, Montse Soria and Xus Soria has been very good getting great results with their girls. Now, the time comes for a well-deserved rest for them.
