Confusion between the neighbors by the transfer of some containers

In the last days, the residents of Denia have accused the change of location of some containers in the urban helmet. This is a modification carried out by the Department of Environment, with the objective of increasing the points of selective collection of waste and facilitate recycling among the local residents.

This was explained by the councilman of environment, Josep Crepo, during the full past of the city council. This measure has been carried out after several meetings with Ecoembes, Ecovidrio, Urbaser or the Local Police of Dénia, among others.

As the mayor explained during the plenary, in some cases the containers have moved several meters from their original location, which has caused some confusion among the neighbors of the municipality. On this topic, from the Popular Party recommended to warn the neighbors of the change of location to avoid misunderstandings.

Another point that was put on the table is the attitude of some neighbors to this issue, who chose to leave the garbage in the original place without depositing it, correctly, in the containers of the planted. Faced with this situation, the councilman lamented the lack of citizenship of some citizens.
