Compromís per Dénia renews its local executive

The general assembly of Compromís Per Dénia held on Thursday, August 6, unanimously approved the reordering of the members of the local executive and the incorporation of new faces.

The group has found it convenient to replace the position of spokesperson, which until now was held by Josep Crespo, and co-spokesperson, in charge of Rafa Carrió, on the occasion of his recent incorporation to the municipal government team, to separate his task in the party with the institutional one.

Thus, the Local Executive take more effective control and monitoring of the work of the representatives of Compromís in the city as well as developing parallel actions.

The new spokesman is Vicent Català, with the challenge of leading the collective work by "transfer to the municipal group the concerns of the citizens guaranteeing a work from the bottom up". Catalan is one of the new additions, among which are also Dolors Aleixandre, Tico Romany, Miquel Ivars and Maria Romany.

The spokesman added that the goal is "to unite the work of people with experience and new people, making an upcoming and participatory policy, promoting the work of the sectors that support the councils."
