One more year Compromis per Dénia wants to remember Vicent Andrés Estellés with the organization of the traditional Festa Estellés, a night dedicated to the poet of Burjassot and the Valencian culture, and which is inspired by the "Burns Supper" held in Scotland in honor of the poet Robert Burns. This year, the appointment will be next Friday, September 21, starting at 20.30:XNUMX p.m., on the street that bears the poet's name, next to the Glorieta del País Valencià.
This year, at the 25 anniversary of his death, the party will consist of a sobaquillo dinner, in a family and festive atmosphere, in which a score of people will recite the author's poems, including councilors, personalities from the world of sports, the culture and the party of the Marina Alta. In addition, there will be music and other activities dedicated to valencianism until around midnight.
The Festa Estellés takes place in September to commemorate the birth of the poet, one of the most important literary references of the 20th century in our territory and who was also closely linked to Dénia. The party is consolidated throughout the Valencian geography, and has been celebrated in Dénia on the street Vicent Andrés Estellés, with the performance of leading Valencian musicians such as Paco Muñoz, Sergi Contrí, Albert Bertomeu or Pau Alabajos, among others.
