In the Jaume I square, at the foot of the statue that recalls his figure, Compromís per Dénia gathered, once again, militants and supporters who wanted to celebrate with them the 9 d'Octubre. This year, with the attack suffered at its headquarters just a few weeks ago, still in the retina.

An attack that starred the words of councilwoman Eva Ronda, who condemned fascism in her words, stating that "We are not afraid, we believe that the way to play on this political board is with very simple rules: dialogue, honesty, transparency and fairness. Those who play with other rules do not play with us". Ronda recalled that "The paintings and threats do not frighten us. We condemn fascism forever".

In this sense, the deputy in Alicante Gerard Fullana, expressed his solidarity with his party colleagues and stated that those who attacked the headquarters "They are not political organizations, they are organizations that practice political terrorism".

Eva Ronda highlighted the role of the four councilors of Compromís together with the government team during this term that is now over, and encouraged its supporters to trust them to continue with their roadmap for the next four years.

Fullana, meanwhile, made a more general view at the regional level, extolling the work of the Botanic government, which he said is "one of the most stable in Spain and Europe". Also, the deputy praised the work of the councilors of the party in all the Valencian municipalities and especially in Dénia, where he said that "It has reversed the economic situation left by the PP, one of the worst efforts in a city council nationwide".

After the offering of flowers in the image of Jaume I, a group of dolçaina i tabalet interpreted Muixeranga, with which the celebration of Compromís of the 9 d'Octubre ended.
