For the eighth consecutive year, Compromís per Dénia wants to remember the poet of Burjassot, Vicent Andrés Estellés, with a popular dinner and reading poems in the style of the Burns Supper Scots. The street that bears his name, will host the eighth edition of the Fiesta Estellés, on Friday 6 in October, starting at 20 hours.
As usual, the party will consist of a dinner of sobaquillo, in a family and festive atmosphere, during which will be held the recital of twenty Estellés poems by volunteer participants, among which there are councilors, personalities of the world of the sport, of the culture and of the festival of the region.
It should be remembered that this party is held to commemorate the birth of one of the most important literary references of the XNUMXth century in our territory, which was also closely linked to Dénia. The party has been implemented for many years throughout the Valencian geography, and has been held in Dénia on Vicent Andrés Estellés street (next to the Glorieta del País Valencià), with the performance of prominent Valencian musicians such as Paco Muñoz, Sergi Contrí, Albert Bertomeu or Pau Alabajos.
