Next Sunday, November 29, Compromís per Dénia will celebrate the Aplec XXVIII of the Castell de Dénia Marina, Act with which the events are commemorated in 1708 when after tough weeks of fighting, the Castle capitulated to the troops of General bourbon Asfeld, in the War of Succession.
It was a November 17, so, the Valencian commemorate every year, at the end of the month, the resistance of the Austrian troops gathered in Dénia.
The act will begin at 11 am at the Castle of Dénia, in front of the monolith, where the traditional tribute to the maulets will be held with an offering of flowers. Next, the political parliament of José Crespo will be held, and a cultural parliament on the "Vila Vella" by archaeologist Josep Antoni Ahuir. There will also be the participation of the Colla the XaretaWhich will accompany the tribute to dolçaina i tabalet.
