Begin summer courses at UNED

On Monday the XXI edition of the summer courses at the headquarters of the UNED Dénia opened. More than 200 students have enrolled in nine different thematic courses that will be offered during the next two weeks: teens, families and their rights, gender violence, the future of cities in the XXI century, courses on the Duke of Lerma and the Marquis of Dénia and even a course of nautical activities will be held at the Real Club Nautico de Denia. Also this year the courses leave the official headquarters to discuss the penitentiary rights in the prison of Foncalent.

The opening ceremony was attended by Carles Torres, director of the UNED associate center of Dénia; Francisco Reus, coordinator of the University Extension and coordinator of the Extension in Xàbia; Elena Compañ, director of the course What happens to teenagers? and José Salvador Monserrat, secretary of the Associated Center of Dénia.

Members of the organization were very pleased at the figures achieved this year, since more than 200 students will participate in the courses offered.
