They begin the celebrations of the millennium of the Taifa of Dénia
This afternoon begins the acts of celebration of the millennium of the taifa in the town hall of Dénia. The afternoon will start with a tasting of mint tea and pastries Al-Andalus on the porch of the consistory, and then the institutional act will be held. It will involve the Councilor for Culture, Pepa Font; Guillem Rosselló-Bordoy, director of the Museu de Mallorca (1965-2002) and advisor to the Delegation of Culture for the events of the millennium of the taifa, and Josep A. Gisbert, director of the Arqueològic Museum of the City of Dénia.
The event can be followed by screens from the basement of City Hall.
The celebration of the millennium of the Taifa of Dénia is complemented by guided visits to the castle during the months of July and August, Tuesday through Friday from 21.15 to 22.30 hours.
