The Baleària Diànium Athletics Club presented the 'XIV Mitja Marató from Dénia i Quart de Marató'

The president of the Baleària Diànium Athletics Club, Jordi Jorro, together with the vice president of the entity, Ricard Pérez and the councilor for sports, Marián Tamarit, were in charge of presenting one of the most charismatic athletic events of all those held in Dénia, "XIV Mitja Marató from Dénia i Quart de Marató".

This edition will be held on Sunday 3 in December, with departure and arrival at Marqués de Campo Street. The race will start at 10: 15 hours, with a distance of 10.548 meters, the participants in the half marathon will take two laps.

The route is identical to the one of the last edition, mixing the port area with the more urban part, since the main streets of the municipality will be covered.

Four refreshment points

The organization has established four liquid refreshment points, which will be installed in the 5, 10.5, 15.5 and meta kilometers. The participants will have a wardrobe and shower service at the Maristas school, near the finish line.

In the Quart de marathon competition, categories ranging from juniors to veterans may participate. In the Half Marathon will be from seniors to veterans.

Price and registration limit

Those interested in participating in the test can formalize the registration on the Mychip website. The price until November's 28 is 10 €. The 29 until the day of the test will be 14 €. One hour before the race the price is 20 €.

The delivery of numbers will be held on December 2 from 17 to 19: 30 hours at the Esports Colau Dénia establishment. The day of the test in the departure zone until 9: 30 hours.

Awards for athletes

All participants will have the usual bag of the runner, with fruit, soft drinks, T-shirt, and some other products. While there will be trophies for the first three classified in each of the categories, both women and men and in the Quarto as in the Half Marathon.

The first three local runners or members of the Baleària Diànium Athletics Club will also have trophies. The oldest veteran runner and the most veteran athlete of the two events. The organization will also conduct a raffle for gifts for participants.
