Citizens threatening to leave the commission of investigation in charge of clarifying an expropriation

August 29 from 2017 - 10: 35

The Citizens Group in the City of Dénia threatens to leave the commission of inquiry, responsible for investigating possible administrative irregularities in litigation over the expropriation of land. An action that resulted in a ruling that cost the municipal coffers about 12 million euros.

Seven months ago the plenary session of the City Council voted in favor of the creation of this commission of which Ciudadanos requested the presidency, which finally fell to Álex Rodenkirchen, a member of the other municipal group who, like the Liberals, have been the only ones who throughout of all these years they have not been involved in the file. The majority of PSPV - Compromís chose the presidency in Rodenkirchen considering it closer to their vision of things.

Sergio Benito, spokesman for Citizens in the Dénia City Council has regretted that so much time has been wasted doing nothing. "The investigative commission is wet paper from the moment it has been seven months and 90% of the time has had no activity"Benito has assured that his party will not be part of any"Paris"and gives the commission a month to"awakening"and solve the file."We do not share the ineffectiveness or the classic parsimony of this City Hall. We have come to change things, not to become part of the furniture"
