The Cercle Empresarial de la Marina Alta (CEDMA) has presented, before the Ministry of Public Works, allegations about the study of the Valencia-Alicante railway line, Tren de la Costa, in the Gandía-Oliva-Dénia section. The group of businessmen considers that, given the population density of La Safor and La Marina Alta, the station is located where the exit of the AP-7 in Ondara is located since it is a connection point between the two regions and serves as an axis backbone of terrestrial communications, composed of the AP-7 and the N-332.

According to CEDMA, «the proposal for a terminal station must have values of regional connectivity and environmental respect, while allowing existing infrastructure to be decongested, discouraging users of said train from having to travel through roads and spaces that are not prepared to receive such a number of users.

This approach is different from that proposed by the government team, as indicated by the CEDMA statement, in which it is proposed that the Dénia terminal station be close to the urban center, an option that from the business community believes that it involves territorial conditions, Environmental and social.

The allegations to the file of the study on the railway network have been approved unanimously in the Extraordinary Board of Directors.
