A few days before the arrival of the Magi, Their Majesties from the East send the emissaries. The Royal Postmen of Dénia collect the wishes of all the boys and girls in the city and, at the same time, chat and take pictures with them in one of the most special Christmas evenings.
Below you have an index with all the points that we are going to deal with in this article.
En 2024 The visit of the three royal postmen will be on Wednesday, January 3 at 18:00 p.m. under the town hall, where, accompanied by their pages, they will serve thousands of boys and girls for several hours. Before this, there will be a tour of Marqués de Campo and Diana Street to greet all the neighbors who walk by the place.
Traditionally, the collection of letters is carried out in the Plaza de la Constitució in Dénia, under the arcade of the town hall. The previous parade, for its part, runs through Marqués de Campo to the final location, passing through Diana street.
In recent years, the figure of these postmen has been reinforced with magical mailboxes, distributed in different parts of the city so that boys and girls can deposit their wishes in the form of a letter. This idea took on special relevance during Christmas 2020-2021 when, due to the pandemic, it was urged to avoid crowds and contact between non-cohabitants. Since then the initiative has been repeated, with mailboxes placed in different parts of the city.
