Captains and champions of the Moors and Christians were presented at the Mig Any party
El Mig Any of the Moors and Christians of Dénia advances without rest. This Wednesday afternoon was celebrated one of the big events of the programming of each year, the presentation of captains, standard bearers and trophies.
The former president of the AMMICC, Amparo Mata, served as host of the event, which began with the screening of a video summary of the holidays last August. He was then called the president of the federation, Miguel Ángel Fullana, who wanted to recognize the work that for years has been making a party lover and especially horses, José Domingo Argudo. Fullana presented him with a commemorative plaque in appreciation for his tireless work on behalf of the Moors and Christians.
The president then took the floor to remind the deceased party people, especially the founder of the Pirates Berberiscas filia, Fany Badía, who lost his life in a traffic accident a few months ago. Likewise, the president had words of thanks for his management team and for each and every one of the party people, who magnify the celebrations. Fullana acknowledged that there are many changes taking place at the party, and recalled especially that this year 20 is celebrating the year of the incorporation of women to the party by the Almogàvers filà.
The first ORT each row took the stage to receive, from the president, the silver badge of the federation, and all of them on stage, it was time to receive the maximum charges of the Moors and Christians this year.

A new feature this year was delivering the standard bearers of the flags of each side that were blessed on Monday at the Church of the Assumption.
