Campaign oral health among children

"Promote the acquisition of healthy eating and hygiene habits, guarantee the correct use of fluoride among the child population and offer surveillance and preventive care of oral health, detecting children with problems early to refer them to the Preventive Dentistry Units" are, in the words of the Councilor for Health, Marcela Server, the main objectives pursued by the Oral Health Program coordinated by the Dénia Public Health Center and which conducts oral exams for Early Childhood Education students (5 years).

Paidos, Vessanes, Llebeig and Carmelitas are the schools that are currently enrolled in this free program, having detected an increase in child cavities in the area after the abandonment of the initiative by several centers.
