'Caminis' takes to the streets this Saturday to assess the needs of school roads in Dénia

13 2018 April - 13: 01

After having to be postponed due to weather conditions, this Saturday, 14 in April, the 1º Critical Walk of the school roads project will be held. Caminis.

The walk is open to all citizens and has a dual purpose. On the one hand, it is an action of observation and analysis, where the participants awaken a critical sense, a sensitive view of the diverse needs of citizens and, above all, of childhood, in the use and enjoyment of public space , from a positioning of sustainability and quality of life. On the other hand, it is intended that the tour be a claim that awakens the interest of other people who still do not know the project.

The departure will be at 11:00 in the morning on Loreto Street, near the Convento de las Agustinas. From there the procession will leave for Plaza Valgamediós, Calle Estrella, Calle Hermanos Gavilà Ferrer, cross Avenida de Alicante and arrive, along Avenida del Montgó, at Plaza Jaume I.

This action will be energized by the youth band of the Agrupació Artística Musical Dénia and Muixeranga of the Marina Alta and it includes micro-interventions of the team that coordinates the project aimed at making visible different issues related to mobility.

When arriving at the Jaume I square, the muixeranga of the Marina Alta will hold a workshop for the attendees and a final performance that will close this critical walk. The completion of this first popular action of the project Caminis 13 is scheduled to: 30 hours.
