Brilliant performance of dianenses triathletes in the «IV Trixábia»
The dianenses triathletes who were participating in the "IV Trixábia”, In the Olympic distance they were at a great level. A competition that brought together 129 athletes early in the morning on the Arenal beach. The Dianense representation was of five triathletes of Dénia Triatló and Edu Plá that militates in the ranks of the Triathlon Club Hurricane Valencia.
The overall winner at this distance was triathlete Ondara, Sergio Torres, belonging to Ondara Tri-Esport who made a total time of 2: 03: 55.
In the Olympic distance Edu Pla made a great first part of the test. He got out of the sea after the swim in second place with a record of 28: 27.
In the bike segment it had to regulate their effort to measure well and this caused her to lose some positions as it marked the ninth best time with 57: 28. In the third segment running, the 10 kilometers long made him a little, although he appeared at goal in the seventh. The total time was 2: 07: 14, besides the podium when second-placed club by club.

Gonzalo Durá conducted a great test and finished it in the fifteenth position of the General classification with a record of 2: 11: 36. A good swimming segment came out leaving the tenth of the sea and in the cycling segment he was with an important group of cyclists who chased the leading group. In the race he knew how to regulate and finished the test very well.
Víctor Bahamonde was another of the highlights, since he finished in the 22 position of the General. In swimming, he stayed beside Gonzalo Durá and left the sea with him. On the bicycle he was also with Durá and it was in the final part of the foot race when he accused the effort and despite performing the first section next to Durá after he lost some positions.
For his part, Ramón Grimalt started very well being the seventh to leave the sea, but later that great effort took its toll since on the bike he lost 30 positions and in the final part of the race he also fell some places. He finished the test at the 42 position of the general with a record of 2: 20: 36.
Marcelo Moreno did it in 2: 27: 01, entering the position, 63, while Carlos Grimalt finished in the 80 position of the general with a total time of 2: 32.44 satisfied with his performance.
