Brigade DD: Les Bovetes, a deserted beach

With the arrival of good weather and the massive visit of residents and tourists to our beaches, a reader, Mercedes García Salazar conveys her discomfort at the "abandonment in which is the beach of Les Bovetes"

Good afternoon, this email is to denounce the abandonment of the beach Les Bovetes on the Carretera de Las Marinas km 4,5 in this Easter by the City of Denia.

On the beach, so it was crowded, they had not installed or Red Cross or toilets or footbaths or walkways and beach clean nonexistant, was really dirty.

We are totally abandoned, but of course if we are required to pay applicable taxes that are useless.

In the 1 km, yes they have and toilets Red Cross.

The City of Jávea, yes it cares about these things and before the avalanche of people comes, they supervise the beaches and place the walkways-fountains in the lavapiés-surveillance of lifeguards, cleaning, etc. What any citizen expects the City Council of the place where the "set-up" resides.

Here in this council do nothing in this sense, the beach is always neglected all these services at this time. Only the service of Lavapies, pararela and the Red Cross in summer; cleaning is VOID.

When the dates of the Municipal Elections are approaching, they will bombard us of all the advantages and benefits that the citizens will have if they are elected. It is the lie of every pre-election campaign.

Of course with my vote and that of many neighbors of that beach, they will NOT count. We are fed up with the abandonment to which they have subjected us.
