Firefighters rescue two elderly people from a burning house

The fire occurred in a house in Gata de Gorgos, with two elderly people inside it. Upon giving the warning, fire crews from Dénia and Benissa quickly went to the burning home.

The widespread fire affected the entire first floor, but firefighters managed to extinguish it and rescue the elderly couple. These had to be taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
