Baleària offers more than 100 jobs on board their ships

Baleària offers more than one hundred jobs in different positions to work on board their boats. The company, which currently has a team of more than 1.600 people, is at a time of growth so it requires reinforcing the crews on their 30 vessels.

The positions that the shipping company is looking for are from bridge officers, sailors, greasers, deck and machine cleaners to on-board service personnel such as cooks or kitchen assistants, waiters, navigators and cleaning personnel. Maritime training of the Business School of Baleària

It should be noted that those who are interested in one of these jobs must have the necessary certification to work on the high seas. To facilitate the attainment of these certificates for those candidates interested in the on-board service stations that do not have them, the Balearic Business School (EdeB) has prepared a maritime training program, partially subsidized. The purpose of this course is to provide candidates, previously selected, with the three certified maritime certificates required to navigate and thus be able to perform the corresponding functions within the vessel.

The candidates will obtain the certification of Basic Training in Safety, Basic Training in Maritime Protection and Basic Training in Passenger Ships at a reduced cost of 150 €.
