This summer, Baleària has decided to expand its connections between the port of Dénia and Ibiza. For this, it has incorporated two boats to cover the high summer demand that will considerably increase its offer of places, schedules and frequencies of passage.
In addition to the usual service between Dénia-Ibiza-Palma with the fast ferry Eleanor Roosevelt, the shipping company has scheduled a fast daily connection between the port of Dianense and Ibiza with the fast ferry Jaume I and a departure from Monday to Thursday in the Zaza ferry. Thus, the maritime company offers between two and three connections a day to the Pitiusa island from Dénia.
El Jaume i, which connects both towns in just over 2 and a half hours, leaves at 09:00 a.m. from the port of Dianense and at 21:00 p.m. from the port of Ibiza. This fast ferry has a capacity for 623 people and 130 vehicles, with a maximum speed of 26 knots, seat accommodation and on-board services such as Internet connection, cafeteria, gift shop and calm houses for pets.
For its part, the Zaza ferry connects the two ports with departures from Dénia at 23:00 p.m. and from Ibiza at 13:30 p.m. with a journey time of about four hours. This ship has a capacity for 1.380 passengers and 450 vehicles, and has a wide range of cabins.
Likewise, Baleària offers a daily ferry connection from the port of Valencia to Ibiza with the Dénia Ciutat Creativa ferry.
