Expansion of the places of the program 'Vacances per a totes i tots' of summer to meet the demand of users

The Councilor for Social Welfare and Education, Pepa Sivera, announced today that finally the program to reconcile work and family life Vacances per a totes i tots for summer 2015 extends its coverage to 140 places, compared to the 80 originally planned , due to the volume of applications registered during the enrollment period, which ended on May 29.

The program, aimed at children from 3 to 14 years 29 will run from June to August 31 in the school premises Les Vessanes in 7.45 to 15.15 hours hours. Participants will be distributed by age group and will be staffed by professional experts in child education and sociocultural animation.

Sivera has also reported that, based on the needs detected and transmitted by the directors of the schools in the city and the Family and Child Care Service of the Department of Social Welfare, 25 children will participate free of charge in the Vacances program per a totes i tots during the months of July and August, with daily dining service included.

Also near 50 most disadvantaged schools will join the summer schools that promotes the Department of Sports, also guaranteeing free service dining during the summer months.
