AMADEM involved in planting dune beach Raset

Users of the association AMADEM, Friends of the Marina Alta of Help for people with Mental Illness, have participated in the days of planting of dune species that the Department of the Environment has organized during the months of February and March to commemorate the Day of the Tree of the Valencian Community.

A total of 18 participants gathered at the beginning of the Raset beach to carry out the planting of 80 specimens of tamarix, a tree species adapted to the environmental conditions of the beach.

This activity was group collaboration Environment Red Cross Dénia, environmental educator of the municipality of Dénia and a municipal Cuba vehicle carrying the necessary materials.

Along 900 linear meters of beach were planted specimens of tamarix, providing compost and watering once planted tree.

The Councilor for the Environment, Juan Carlos Signes, thanks the members of these entities for their selfless collaboration in the recovery of the beach ecosystem.
