María Ibars students learn to make responsible use of new technologies

Mobile phone, tablet, computer... Almost without wanting to, we are constantly connected to the network. Have you ever wondered if your teenager makes good use of new technologies? That question is what they are trying to answer with a new workshop on the responsible use of new technologies aimed at 1st year Baccalaureate students at IES María Ibars.

Enrique Madrid, an expert clinical psychologist in new technologies, is responsible for delivering the workshop in which content they want to convey to young guidelines for using properly the new technologies (Internet, mobile phone and video games) and networks working social, showing the risks and offering guidelines to differentiate between the fans, abuse and addiction ICT. Also it reports on alarm signals and promotes protective factors.

The workshop consists of three sessions, on 22 and 29 October 5 November and is organized by the City of Dénia collaboration with the Foundation for Analysis, Study and Prevention of Addictions (AEPA) and grant the Provincial Council of Alicante.
