Students of the Theater workshop of the Classrooms of the Third Age represent the play "Xafarderas" for the benefit of Amunt against cancer
Aurora Crespo, Piedad Solá, Rosa María del Cabo, Isi Merino and Pepa Palonés, students of the Theater Classroom of the Classrooms of the Third Age of Dénia, will represent the next February 26, at 19:00 p.m., in the Social Center of Dénia, the work Xafarderas, for the benefit of the Amunt association against cancer.
With the excuse of seeking a safe environment in the face of COVID to rehearse a scene from Yerma, by Federico García Lorca, the decimated group from the Theater Classroom for the Third Age embarks on a journey that, using a documentary road movie, reveals us the architectural value of the laundries in the Marina Alta region and the description of the hard work carried out by women before the appearance of the automatic washing machine. This is the argument of the play that will be performed on the 26th, directed by Eva Díaz Guerra and Juan Luis López Escar.
Along with the five actresses, Eva Díaz Guerra, Matías Cubells and Juan Luis López Escar will take part in the play as guest actors and actresses; as well as the dancer Marina López and the dance group Esencias, directed by Raquel Heredia.
Tickets for this solidarity representation can be purchased on February 22, 23 and 24 at the Associations Headquarters (Calle Campotorres, 13), from 10 a.m. to 12.30:17 p.m. and from 20 p.m. to 5 p.m. They will also go on sale at the box office the same day, one hour before the show starts.
