The Alcoyan David Escarabajal wins the contest of fast painting Ciudad de Dénia

Alcoyan David Escarabajal won the first prize of the IV Contest of fast painting City of Dénia Celebrated last Sunday 11 of June. Escarabajal, who was also the winner of the previous edition, received the 700 euros with which he is endowed the prize.


 
The theme of the works of the contest, organized by the Association of Artists of the Marina Alta (ADAMA) and the Department of Culture of the City of Denia, focused on the old town and the Marqués de Campo de Dénia street, with choice of technique Free for participants.
 
The jury, made up of Councilor for Culture, Rafa Carrio, the artist, painter and sculptor Joan Castejón, the painter Vicente Morales Peris and the president of ADAMA, Javier Ruiz Cenzano, awarded the second prize, endowed with 400 euros, Alberto Márquez And the third, with an endowment of 200 euros, to Miguel Mellado.


 
Jutta Kuen was awarded as the best local artist, winning a trip to Formentera for two people courtesy of Baleària, and Fernando Seguí was recognized as the best artist in the region, receiving a batch of paintings valued at 100 euros from the collaborating company Marina Color.
 
They participated in this IV Contest of fast painting City of Dénia A total of 22 artists from Denia and Marina Alta and also come from Albacete, Bilbao, Murcia, Cullera and Gandia. The winning works will be exhibited at the Municipal House of Culture of the 15 to 30 June.
